Koputai Lodge Trust

    Koputai Lodge provides long term residential support, planned respite and community support services.

    Koputai Lodge is a small not for profit organisation that is governed by a Board of Trustees.  The Board is made up of members from the Port Chalmers community along with a representative from the Lodge.

    Programme

    Long Term Residential Services

    Koputai Lodge provides accommodation and support in a semi-rural setting, for seven permanent people with a psychiatric diagnosis.

    The Trust offers a family atmosphere in which people receiving support are encouraged to develop their individual skills and inner resources.

    Planned Adult Respite

    Koputai has two respite beds. People visit the Lodge for a therapeutic break and to enjoy the delights of Port Chalmers.

    Koputai Lodge is a boutique service. A quiet and restful place to come for respite.  Providing great food and company with close proximity to cafes, galleries and bush walks.  All food, linen and toiletries are provided.

     

     

    Community Support

    Koputai Lodge provides community support to people in the West Harbour area who are living in their own homes but need additional assistance, usually a few hours per week.

    Charges

    No fees apply for planned adult respite or community support services.
