Smokefree Events 

Smokefree events are an opportunity to provide a Smokefree environment for those in attendance and move towards a Smokefree Aotearoa 2025. These events protect patrons from second hand smoke, support people who are trying to quit and normalises Smokefree. For all those present it is an opportunity to celebrate Smokefree culture, Smokefree community and Smokefree whanaungatanga across different settings. 

NPHS-Southern offers support for Smokefree events by providing guidance on ways to promote your event as Smokefree. Doing this well in advance prepares the community/audience for what to expect. Smokefree resources are also available (at no cost) for your Smokefree event.  ​​​​
