Our teams provide support for adults experiencing mental health issues, including expectant mothers.
Southern DHB Adult Community Mental Health Services are provided by the following teams:
- Central Lakes Community Mental Health Team operates out of 19 Douglas Street, Frankton and Hospital Street, Clyde
- Dunedin North Community Mental Health Team operates out of Dunedin Hospital
- Dunedin South Community Mental Health Team operates out of Wakari Hospital
- Invercargill Community Mental Health Team operates out of Southland Hospital
- Southern Rivers Community Mental Health Team operates out of 24 Clyde Street, Balclutha and 16 Irwell Street, Gore
- Waitaki Community Mental Health Team operates out of 2 Trent Street, Oamaru
Southern DHB Adult Community Mental Health Services also offers:
- Community Day Programmes and Outpatient Groups at Dunedin Hospital
- Day Activity Centres at Rata House in Invercargill and Welcome In in Gore
- Early Intervention in Psychosis Service at Dunedin Hospital
Programme
Charges
There are no fees for services to public patients if you are lawfully in New Zealand and meet one of the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Health. If you do not meet the criteria, you will be required to pay for the full cost of any medical treatment you recieve during your stay.
