New Southern health system website under development!

The Southern DHB website is being upgraded!

In collaboration with WellSouth, the Community Health Council and other health care providers, we’re working to produce a whole-of-system website that provides a welcoming virtual front door to our services for our diverse communities.

The new site will be patient-centred, making it easier for patients and our health services partners to find the information they need.

We want you to be part of the process and have set up a blog site at www.southernhealth.nz, so you can stay up-to-date with the project and find out how you can be involved.

Because the website will contain information from a wide-range of health providers, we will also be developing a new logo for the website to represent the wider Southern Health System.

Our new website is an action in the Primary and Community Care Strategy and Action Plan, contributing to a more accessible, coordinated health care system – and we are very pleased to have this work well underway.
