The Report was commissioned to better understand the nature and scale of the housing problem in Central Otago District, along with the resulting health impacts.
The Report explains that booming populations in Central Otago District and neighbouring Queenstown-Lakes District have outgrown local housing supplies.
The housing shortage is contributing to a range of related social and health problems in the community.
