    Formerly Southern DHB Diagnostic Testing - Southland

    Southland Hospital's Diagnostic Testing Department provides specialised inpatient and outpatient diagnostic procedures in the fields of cardiology, respiratory, sleep and vascular medicine.

    Services include:

    • Cardiology: Electrocardiogram (ECG); Ambulatory ECG; Event Monitoring; Exercise Tolerance Testing; Echocardiography; Ambulatory Blood Pressure; and Pacemaker evaluation.
    • Respiratory: Spirometry, Full Pulmonary Function Testing, Mannitol Bronchial Provocation Challenge; ENO Studies; and Six Minute Walk tests.
    • Sleep: Sleep Studies; CPAP and NIV treatment.
    • Vascular: ABI Studies.
